Hello and welcome to our organic farm! My name is Farmer Bo and I grow vegetables in the southeastern United States, in South Carolina. If you have ever driven by a farm with crops that are in very straight rows, then you know exactly what our farm looks like! We grow tomatoes, green beans, lettuce, broccoli and cauliflower and harvest them from March to November every year. One of my favorite things about farming is that I love watching a seed grow into a vegetable, and then seeing that vegetable being sent to the grocery stores for you to eat.

Speaking of eating, my favorite vegetable is green beans and I love sweet cantaloupe. Eating healthy is not only a big part of my family’s lifestyle, but growing healthy food is just as important. Growing foods organically means that we are caring for the ground by using safe growing methods and producing a nutritious food for consumers. What is your favorite vegetable??
